The Blanco River Academy was founded on the principles of well-rounded, personalized, hands-on learning that goes "beyond textbooks. "Hands-on learning occurs through project-based lessons, interactive outdoor lessons, our TAMU grant-funded Citizen Science Program, and enriching field/class trips.
With a "whole child" focus, the learning environment nurtures both mind and body on a campus that offers a unique learning experience surrounded by the natural beauty of Cypress Creek and Blanco River.
Our "Specials" class offerings include Spanish, Computer Technology, Environmental Studies, Fitness Education, Music, Drama, Visual Art, and Life Skilz.
After-school extra-curricular offerings typically include Cross Country/Walking Club, Tinker Club, Garden Club, D&D (Role-playing), and Tennis.
